The curtain has just been lifted off of the brand new and freshly electrified 2025 BMW M5 hybrid luxury sedan and the German automaker is already auctioning off special editions for charity. Next month, BMW will sell off one very special, very orange exclusive edition of the new M5 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event, where it should fetch a heftier sum than the announced $120,675 starting price for the “normal” car. Here’s what makes the so-called 2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 so special.
2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 Exclusive Paint
The most immediate and obviously striking display of exclusivity on this one-of-one M5 is the beautiful BMW Individual Frozen Orange metallic paint job on the exterior. BMW says this paint scheme was already scheduled to be cut from the Dingolfing BMW production facility initially before the new M5 production was meant to begin, but they held off for just one car, the very first all-new M5 to be sold in North America at this auction. Now that the car is painted, it ensures that no future 2025 or newer M5s will get the same orange paint color (probably).

The orange extends to the hand-painted accents on the M dual-spoke 951M style wheels with performance rubber in staggered configuration—20 inches up front and 21 inches in the rear—complimented by matte-gold-painted carbon ceramic brakes.
2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 Custom Interior
The interior of the custom 2025 BMW M5 gets as much as $57,000 in options according to the automaker, including a unique color setup with M multi-function seating up front finished in Kyalami orange and Silverstone merino leather, which is an exclusive combo here. Headrests get custom Pebble Beach logos apparently using some sort of new printing technology. The seats are matched with carbon fiber silver threaded gloss trimmings and dark silver accents on the dashboard, with a special Pebble Beach logo found here as well with the “#1/1” badge, too. Those monikers show up in the door sills as well.
Other included features include the Executive Package with an illuminated kidney grille up front, front ventilated seating, powered rear sunshade, a Carbon Pack including the roof panel, rear spoiler, and mirror caps, additional Dynamic and Dynamic Plus driving modes, and the M Driver’s Pack that raises the top speed to190 mph (and comes with a free driving class)
2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 Auction Details
The 2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 will be auctioned at no-reserve by Gooding & Company on Friday, August 16 and all proceeds “above the vehicle’s MSRP” are going to the local Monterey County Pebble Beach Company Foundation, which is a charity that supports literacy and education programs for disadvantaged young people in the area. So whatever the final, hopefully massive figure is, not all of that goes to charity as the car’s cost will apparently need to be covered, too.
